STMSS41 – Kim Donohue – Suicide Prevention at the State and Local Level

About Today’s Guests:

Kim Donohue has worked for the Nevada Department fo Veteran Services as the Suicide and Homelessness Prevention Program Manager and Organizational Integrator since January 2018. Kim has been actively participating in the SAMHSA Mayor’s Challenge Teams, which is a suicide prevention initiative that fights against suicide among service members, veterans, and their families since the inauguration in January 2018. In December of 2018, Governor Sisolak designated Kim to lead the Governors Challenge team and continue efforts towards preventing suicide on a state-wide level.

Prior to working for NDVS, she taught early childhood education. Kim spent over five years living in Ireland and Great Britain, establishing European offices in England and the Middle East for an International Engineering Software Company.
